Introducing WP MyLinks: A WP Alternative to Linktree to Create Unlimited Micro Landing Pages – Aside from actively maintaining my other plugin, OneClick Chat to Order, I was thinking to learn more about WordPress development to enhance my skills in specific area of focus.
That time, I was thinking to get to a better understanding of creating, maintaining and using Custom Post Type. So I chose CPT to focus on.
To get started, Custom Post Types for Book, Travel Notes, Event, etc were what came into my mind. But at the same time, since I actively use Instagram to promote my latest blog posts (and any other precious links I’d like to share), I came up with something totally different.
Previously I have used Linktree and Campsite to promote my links on Instagram. But honestly, none of the options came close to satisfy me. Then again, I already have WordPress with my domain name on it.
So, why don’t I use the tools I currently have with the domain name(s) that represents me better to my audience?
That was the main idea behind WP MyLinks.
I began to construct the idea, gathering ideas here and there, then luckily during work from home (WFH), I had more time to spare for the development process because most of my full time jobs can be quickly done at home.
It was hard for me to decide a name for the plugin, but took no longer than 10 minutes to came up with WP MyLinks. As you might already guess, WP might stands for WordPress in terms of abbreviation. But it actually stands for Walter Pinem 😀

As you can read from the title of this post, WP MyLinks is an alternative to Linktree, Campsite, or anything similar- you name it, but built only for WordPress users.
So if you have an existing WordPress site with your own domain name on it, you can creat a micro landing page with unlimited number of links in it by using WP MyLinks.

Installation
