A crypto profit calculator shows what a trade actually earned once buying and selling fees are taken out. You enter the buy price, the sell price, and how many coins you hold, and it returns your total invested, total returned, net profit or loss, and your return on investment.
Everything is computed in your browser and updates the moment you type. Profits show in green and losses in red so the outcome is obvious at a glance.
Enter the buy price and sell price per coin, then the quantity you traded. The results appear immediately.
Add an optional buy fee and sell fee as percentages to match your exchange, and pick a currency for formatting. Leave the fee fields blank to ignore them.
Buy fees raise your true cost, so the cost basis is quantity ร buy price ร (1 + buy fee รท 100). Sell fees shrink what you receive, so proceeds are quantity ร sell price ร (1 โ sell fee รท 100).
Net profit is proceeds minus cost basis, and ROI is that profit divided by the cost basis. Even small percentage fees add up on large positions, which is why they are worth including.
A positive net profit with a healthy ROI means the trade beat its costs; a red figure means the fees and price move worked against you. ROI lets you compare trades of very different sizes on equal footing.
To turn that ROI into an annualised figure you can express the percent with a Percentage Calculator. If your gains come from a loan-funded position, a Loan Calculator helps weigh the borrowing cost, and when you convert a coin amount quoted in another unit a Unit Converter keeps the quantity consistent before you calculate.
Profit is proceeds minus cost basis. Cost basis is quantity times buy price plus the buy fee; proceeds are quantity times sell price minus the sell fee. Subtract one from the other to get net profit, then divide by the cost basis for ROI.
Yes. A 0.1% fee on each side is small on one trade but compounds across frequent trading and large positions. Entering both the buy and sell fee gives a realistic net figure rather than a gross one that overstates your gain.
No. It shows trading profit and loss only and does not model capital gains tax, spreads, or slippage. Use it for planning and quick comparisons, then apply your local tax rules separately.
