Why spell numbers out?
Cheques, invoices, and contracts often require an amount in words as well as figures, so the two can be checked against each other. Writing "one thousand two hundred" also removes any doubt about a misread digit.

How large a number can it spell out?
It supports values up to the quadrillions. Extremely large numbers beyond that range are reported instead of being spelled incorrectly.
