Seni Berpikir is a technology and business blog which was created in 2013 to share useful information about latest tech trends, business, and other practical guides in online marketing, WordPress, and other tech-related topics.
Project Scopes
Seni Berpikir company needed a fully functional website to host all the incoming traffics in a much readable form with user-experience in mind. Since it has different topics, then it needed segmented spaces with which articles from each topic displayed to the users.
To stand out amongst its peers, human-readable and SEO-optimized contents are combined to produce high quality organic traffics. Not only the articles, the blog itself is heavily optimized with latest SEO strategies, both on and off-page optimization.

About Project
Kerja Lepas was originally created to assist those who decide to start working independently and remotely to get started. This blog covers everything what a freelancer normally needs to start their independent career, anywhere at anytime.

From research to deployment, I led the process and created all the concepts then converted them into an astonishing result.
Content-first was the idea behind its design in order for readers to easily and quickly find what they really need from every piece of information provided.

A Blog for Millennials
About Project
GEN20 is a blog that provides readings for millennials with an age group between 18 - 29 years old. It covers a ranged of topics from study and life hacks, unique facts, to personal finance.
Project Scopes
GEN20 was only intented to host articles with topics mentioned above. So, the required specs were not so hard to achieve. By categorizing each topic on the front page and then ordered them randomly, it was good enough to go.
Now, the hardest part is to rank each article organically on search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc because the original intention was to get traffics from social shares, that's why the keywords used are not big in terms of search volume.
The social media traffics plan worked out tho', but it's certainly not enough. Thus, I'm still working to boost the SEO of each article.

De Quixote
A Fully Functional Online Store
About Project
De Quixote is an online store, originally created to sell clothes for men. It has transformed into an online store that sells a wide-ranged of products.
Project Scopes
De Quixote only needed a simple landing page as the front page that covers simple copywriting telling what it is and what it sells. Asides from a front page, of course it needed a page that displays all the products it sells.
I use WooCommerce to handle the overall system like product listings, order processing, and payment. De Quixote required several payment methods, such as offline bank transfer through several Indonesian banks.
Unfortunately, WooCommerce only provides one built-in option to enable offline payment method. So I built a custom plugin named Indonesian Banks for WooCommerce to extend the option.
De Quixote also required an automatic payment system, so I used Midtrans to make it possible for De Quixote to accept payment using credit card and GoPay.

A Social-Political Science Blog with Multi Authors-enabled System
About Project
A group of a university alumnus needed a website in which they can publish social-political science related articles.
Project Scopes
Aside from being able to write and publish their own articles, the group also required a website that looks like Buzzfeed with user profiles of their own and make it possible for readers to write and publish articles on the site.
The logics behind them were pretty simple but hard to execute. Prevent spam registrations, block bots, etc were the hardest part. I tried several plugins that can prevent such actions, but still, they could get through. I ended up with custom code as the tweaks to block any automatic and malcious actions.

An Instagram Automation Tool
About Project
Bynx is an Instagram automation tool which can automate some actions such as like, follow, comment, tag, repost, etc.
Project Background
Me and my friend had a project from a digital agency to grow a brand new Instagram account of a popular brand. We had several options put out in our plan such as content strategy, hashtag optimization, and of course automation.
Aside from good contents, we learned that automation produced the greatest impact to grow the account. We had a very tight budget to rent an automation service at that time, so I decided to build a custom Instagram automation tool, and Bynx was the result.
After our project with the agency done, I decided to release Bynx for public and got hundreds of subscribed users in only 3 months. But since Instagram shutted down their public API, Bynx no longer works, so it was shutted down right after.

A Travel Blog
About Project
Lady Pinem is a travel blog made for my sister Kiki Pinem. It was created to host her traveling stories.
Project Scopes
Same like any other personal blogs in general, it required no advanced system both on the front and backend.
The idea behind the web development was pretty simple, "a personal blog that hosts traveling stories and looks similar to online magazine".

About Project
Besides being a full-time traveler, my sister is also a full-time investor so she asked me to create another blog that focus on hosting her knowledge about investment.

The idea behind it was pretty much the same with the travel blog. But it was important to distinguish the layout and overall design.
To stand out amongst other investment related blogs, I decided to handle all the SEO aspects from keyword research to on and off-page optimization.

KoinWorks is the first super financial app in Indonesia that enables everyone to control all their assets and financial needs in one app.

KoinWorks was on the transformation process to become the first super financial app in Indonesia. So a new website was also needed to support the transformation.
The use of WordPress on the new website was my idea since it'd be easier to maintain, and along with a Frontend Developer, I was assigned to support the development. I mainly handled the backend development and took only a small part on the frontend aspects.
I also handled all the copywriting and contents needed, and since my main job at KoinWorks is SEO & Content Manager, so I also manage all the SEO aspects.

At KoinWorks, this is my main tool to acquire users organically, mainly depends on every piece of content and SEO for every targeted keyword.

I implement my own set of growth hacking staregies on this blog to acquire users organically (since my main KPI is organic acquisition).
From writing and optimizing contents that rank higher on Google SERP, created 11 custom financial calculators with CTA on each to convert readers into users, creating landing pages, optimizing its overall design to boost readership, average time spent and number of social shares, to programmatically handle everything since I possess all required access.
KoinWorks Blog is now one of the most popular financial blogs in the market.
Luckily, I am free to customize all the design and development aspects without any restrictions.

COVID-19 has given insurmountable impacts to various aspects in life, from daily activity to business. Local business are greatly impacted, but they must survive.
Project Scopes
A division at my company came out with ideas to support local businesses during this difficult situation, one of them was a microsite on which every joint business can promote their products.
To automate any manual processes and make it smoother, I decided to turn it into an online platform instead that enables businesses to create their own accounts and then submit their own products including promo if any.

Interest in the business world is increasing among millennials, but they often miss the path on how to start and grow their businesses. This website was originally intended to educate young entrepreneurs to start and grow their business further.
Project Scopes
To build an online magazine for business education, the articles need to be served in most readable form, not only in terms of topics but also in writing style. Each article needed to be easy to read and understand, especially for beginners.
I conducted some researches like topics to cover, latest business trends and forecast future trends, and of course SEO keyword research. A freelance writer has a very great contribution in building the blog.
It turned out to be a popular business blog, then I decided to turn it into our secondary organic user acquisition channel.
